Peter Kilcourse
is the club leader he holds the grade of 1st
Dan in both the BJC (MAC) and the BJA. He also has a level 2 coaching
award in both associations. Peter has been doing judo for over 15 years and only started after watching his eldest two children doing it. He is a qualified National referee, County coach and a level 2 examiner. Peter is also responsible for setting and teaching all regional timekeeper and recording examinations within the BJC (MAC). Outside of Judo Peter teaches a variety of subjects including Information Technology, Personal Social development, Key skills and Job Search for Kent County Council. He has 4 children and 6 grandchildren. His hobbies include: Judo (of course, he teaches at 4 clubs a week), computing, reading, X box 360 and the occasional glass of red wine

Craig Kilcourse
is a club coach he holds the grade of 1st Dan Craig has been doing judo for 19 years, after taking an extended break of nearly 4 years he is now determined to progress his judo and has recently gained his club coach and level 1 referee awards. Craig is also a qualified timekeeper and recorder. Outside of Judo Craig is always busy with work, his family, he has 2 daughters whom he idolises (his a big softy really) His hobbies include: Play station 3, MSN, face book, Play station 3,and his Play station 3 (he only plays call of duty 4)

Steve Morris
is a
coach who is
affiliated to the club he holds the grade of 3rd Dan in the
BJC (MAC) and 2nd Dan in the BJA. Steve has been doing judo for more years than he would care to admit, he holds qualifications at level 3 in both coaching and refereeing. As he is extremely qualified his expertise is sort after by many, hence he is unable to visit the club as often as he would like too.Steve is an accomplished rally car driver and works as a mechanic. His hobbies include: family activities (he has 2 daughters and a grandson), skiing and keep fit

Steve Stacy
is also a coach at the club, he holds the grade of Upper 1st
Kyu in the BJC (MAC) and 1st Dan in the BJA
Steve has been doing judo for about 5 years and is currently employed by the BJA as a schools development officer. His job requires him to teach judo to school children during school hours. He loves judo so much he also teaches or assists at about 5 different clubs outside of school. Steve is also a qualified personal trainer so most probably the best person so ask about diet and muscle toning. His hobbies include: Judo (he does not have much time for anything else) |

was the highest graded junior in the
club (junior black belt) She has a senior grade of Lower 1st Kyu.
Chelsey has been doing judo for over 10 years and is the longest member of the club, she has achieved a lot in her judo and has been selected to fight for England. Her hobbies include all types of sport especially football (she beats the boys), boys, her mobile, face book and her mobile

Carrie - Anne Kilcourse
is the clubs registered Child Protection Officer,
she has attended the required courses for this position and is
furthering her training with a local company. Any licensed member of the club who needs her help can contact her on a club night in the first instance, a private room will be made available if required. Her hobbies include: Her children (and so it should) and their various pets and watching as her car gets repaired (seems like a full time job)

Eurika Wight
is in charge of the clubs
first aid. Her hobbies include: Caring for her family and her caravan

Pam Magson
is in charge of serving refreshments at the club, this is most probably
the most important job at the club as I like my cups of tea

Brian Clabon
is the clubs purchasing officer and ensures we get a good deal on our
sweets and drinks. Brian is also a qualified appointed person (1st Aid) His hobbies include: Swimming, canoeing and keeping Ricky under control

Karen Clabon
is the club co-ordinator, she will take your mat and competition
fees and give out details of any events. She is also responsible for the tuck shop
(ensuring that not too much sugar is consumed before the children come
onto the mat).
Karan is also a qualified appointed person (1st Aid) Her hobbies include: Swimming and canoeing

ALL ARE WELCOME...
In comparison to many sports and pastimes judo is relatively inexpensive to take up. The only equipment you need is a judo suit (judo-gi) and these can be purchased fairly cheaply through the club. Training fees are only payable for sessions that you attend.
There are two annual subscription you may/need to pay for,
membership of the club, this is purely voluntary, however you will be entitled to reduced mat fee's for being a member.
membership of a judo association which covers your personal liability insurance and allows you to be graded and take part in the various events organised throughout the year. That you may or may not attend. (payable after 1 month of joining/starting at the club).
